Who We Are
Georgia Animal Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending companion animal
overpopulation by providing high quality low-cost spay and neuter services for dogs and cats
throughout North Georgia. We offer our services to individuals, reputable rescue organizations
and animal shelters using highly skilled veterinarians and clinic staff. Our clinic is located in the
historic city of Ball Ground in Cherokee County Georgia.
What We Do
Georgia Animal Project targets the root cause of animal overpopulation with a sound
solution - high quality, low-cost spay and neuter offered to the public at cost. We sponsor
multiple clinics each week at our location in Ball Ground. The prices associated with our
clinics are significantly reduced from what a veterinarian typically charges because we ask
only that you pay what it costs us to perform the spay or neuter. If you are unable to pay
the full costs due to unemployment, low income or disability, contact us regarding additional
financial help. To begin, please fill out an online appointment form, email us with questions
at info@theanimalproject.org, or call (770) 704- PAWS (7297) for more information.
Our Mission
Georgia Animal Project's mission is to reduce animal suffering and shelter euthanasia by
confronting companion-animal overpopulation through effective education programs and by
offering high quality, low-cost spay and neuter directly to the public at cost.
